Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka at DCI’S headquarters over controversial NYS land.

Wiper leader, Kalonzo Musyoka this morning headed to  the Directorate of criminal investigation (DCI) office to present documents showing proof of ownership over the controversial Yatta land in Machakos County.

This follows after the Deputy President, William Ruto responded to an attack by former Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka, sparked by his comments regarding the ownership of the Yatta farm.

Through his spokesman, David Mugonyi, DP Ruto accused the Wiper party leader of succumbing to cheap politics hysteric in order to salvage his political ambitions.

“Kalonzo does not have confidence in his candidate. In his panic he has saddled himself with ridiculous heap of bizarre in pursuit of the Deputy President William Ruto. He must desist from his cheap tactic of trying to salvage his political mojo by attacking Deputy President” .Mugonyi said.

Earlier this week, the Wiper leader had taken issue over the utterances the Deputy President made during a rally in Bomet County claiming that the former VP grabbed his Yatta land from the National Youth Service.

“The wild claim hold no water, the allegations are cheap and desperate attempt at a character assassination. I uphold the highest morals and ethical standard in all my affairs. I have nothing to hide and I today challenge the authorities to open an investigation into this matter “Said Kalonzo in a statement made on January 18th.

Mugonyi without denying that Ruto made the claims said a probe into how Kalonzo came into possession of the expansive farm would be in the best interest of the public.

Mugonyi tied Musyoka’s statement to panicking over the crowded Machakos Senate race in which he has fronted Agnes Kavindu as his party’s candidate.
