To undertake any degree course at The Catholic University Of Eastern Africa, one is required to have attained a KCSE mean grade of C+ and above with C+ English or Kiswahili. You will also need to have attained at least C+ in subjects related to your field of studies. Certificate and Diploma courses have less qualification requirement by the university.

Admission at The Catholic University Of Eastern Africa happens each year. The main intake usually happens in September. The university carries out intakes in the months of January and May as well.

The Catholic University Of East Africa Fee Structure

The fee charged at The Catholic University Of Eastern Africa highly depends on the course you are taking and the course level. You will pay less to study a certificate course and more to pay for a degree course.

The Catholic University Of Eastern Africa bank accounts and Fee Payment Guidelines:

Fees can be paid as follows;

  1. Full payment at the beginning of the semester or,
  2. Payment in installments as follows;
    • The first instalment (50%) payable on registration of the semester
    • The second installment (25%) payable at the end of 1st month of the semester (Week 4)
    • The third instalment (25%) payable at the end of the 2nd month of the semester (Week 8)

This charge is automatically posted to the student account on the first day of the following month.
    5. Other cheques (i.e. personal, Company or Cooperatives cheques) require at least 4 working days to clear before they can be recognized as payment.
    6. Cash payment is prohibited.
