Jumia has put in place a well organized return policy that allows customers to return purchased products and even as for a refund when there is need. However there are some policies you will have to follow before you can successfully return your purchased product and order another one or get a refund.
In one way or anther you might need to return a Jumia purchased product immediately you receive it or days later. This may be due to wrong item shipped, damages, defects, incomplete wrong-size, change of mind or even counterfeit item. For such Jumia allows their clients to return the item.
You can simply return your purchased item that has any issue by taking it to Jumia drop-off station. However, this has to be done within 15 days after delivery/ collection for you to be eligible.
Which Items are eligible for Return?
Almost all Jumia purchase can be returned and replacement or refund issued. For items returned after change of mind, Jumia requires one to ensure that all seals, tags and accessories that comes with the product are left intact and that the item is in the original packaging when returning it.. However, there are a category of items or purchases that cannot be returned due to change of mind after being purchased from the Jumia online store. Such Items include;

- Hygeine & Personal Care Products

- Games, Office & Business Software
- Wedding Hair & Accessories
- Events and Tickets are not eligible for return as well.
If you have created a password on the device you wish to return, please ensure it is removed, otherwise, your return will be invalid.
Jumia also states that orders delivered through Kenya Postal Service (only available for Jumia Global items, clearly indicated at checkout when selected delivery method) will not be eligible for return for change of mind.
What Happens Next Once You Initiate A Return Of The Item Your Purchased
Jumia states that if the package was delivered to you and you requested for a pick-up, their delivery agent will call you to schedule a retrieval. There will be 2 attempts made to retrieve the item(s) in 3 business days.
If you initially picked-up your package from one of Jumia stations or chose to drop-off at one, please take the items to the selected pick up staion
