Betty Kyallo to vie for a top political seat in Nairobi
Former TV personality and business lady Betty Kyallo will be vying for Nairobi Women rep seat in the 2022 election.
Her intention to rival the current Nairobi Women representative Esther Passaris was brought to light by aspiring Kamukunji politician Alinur Mohammed who said the media personality-Betty Kyallo has political ambitions.
Speaking to Radio Jambo’s Ali Baba, Alinur said, “Betty Kyallo is a good friend of mine, we talk often, and everyone knows she was a media personality. Yes, she wants to run for the seat for women representative in Nairobi.”
The two have been spotted hanging out together, and Ali Baba asked what Alinur’s role is in Betty’s life.
Nur said he had been mentoring Betty and hopes she will clinch the Nairobi women rep seat during the next elections.

Asked on whether he is dating Betty, Alinur downplayed the claims and said he is married and has never been in such a relationship with Betty.
“I’m not in a relationship with Betty. I’m a family man, a father of two. Sisi kama waislamu tunapewa nafasi nne, we don’t do things chini ya maji. We do things out in the public.”
Last year Betty while appearing on Churchill show revealed that she had accomplished almost everything she wanted to achieve and she was considering joining politics.
“It is in my plan, I have achieved everything I wanted to achieve so far and there are a few things I need to do: package myself and think about what is it that I want to run for, but I will do it.” Betty stated.
