Amina Abdi Quietly Quits Her Job

Capital FM presenter Amina Abdi Rabar and The Trend Show host has called it quit at the Capital FM Radio station which had recently been hit by a massive exodus of presenters.
Amina has been working for the Chris Kirubi Owned station Capital FM for almost a decade but it is her low key exit that has left many questions than answers.
The presenter did not announce her intention to leave the station to her listeners and many came to learn about her exit through Fareed Khimani who returned to the station last year.

For the last few weeks Fareed has been hosting the morning show alone and disclosed that there will be a new co-host who will join him soon.
“Amina Abdi will not be returning and I will be joined soon by a new co-host. She has gone to do big and better things,” he said.
Amina who is usually active on social media has gone slow on the issues and even her previous Capital FM posts have been pulled down only leaving promotional material for her NTV show the The Trend that she hosts.
Her departure from Capital FM comes just a month after another long time presenter Miano Muchiri left, and unlike the quiet departure by Amina, he said he was leaving his mid-morning show which he had hosted for more than a decade.
Capital FM has lost a number of workers among them presenters and editors since last year.
