JUST IN: Malala set free after uproar over Butere Girls ‘Echoes of War’ play  

  Former Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala, who is also the scriptwriter of “Echoes Of War” play, has been released after spending a night in custody.  Malala was released on Thursday April 10, 2025 from Eldama Ravine Police Station where he was held following his arrest in connection with the controversial play by Butere Girls High School
