Kenyan comedian David “Mulamwah” Oyando has sparked fresh buzz after sharing pictures on Instagram of a romantic outing with a new female friend—a Russian acquaintance dubbed “Svetlana”—just days after a messy public fallout with his ex-partner, Ruth K.

Mulamwah revealed that the date began with a call from Svetlana and emphasized the importance of moving forward. “My friend from Russia, Svetlana, called me in for a date. We spoke, and I learnt that men fall, men lose, men get pressed, but what counts is how well they get up,” he said. In the post, he extended apologies to fans for his recent missteps, including leaking private photos of his ex, asking for prayers as he embarks on a “new me” phase.

This fresh chapter follows a dramatic online spat between Mulamwah and Ruth K, which escalated when he leaked her private videos to relatives.
