[Photos]: Students from Chesamisi Boys high school goes on a rampage

Students at Chesamisi high school in Bungoma went on a rampage over the weekend leaving behind a trail of damages. School properties of unknown value were destroyed during the rampage and vehicles were as well destroyed.
It was reported that the students were protesting the suspension of their colleagues who were suspended over indiscipline cases. 50 students are said to have been suspended by the school administration and this did not go well with other students.

As a result the students staged a riot on Saturday night as from 10 PM.

Police were informed and responded with teargas cannisters ranting in the sky the whole night!


Vehicles belonging to the school principal and one of the teachers were vandalized during the rampage.
They also decedent on the staffroom and classes destroying window panes on the tution block. The ICT room was also broken into and valuable electronic gadgets were destroyed and some are reported to be missing.


The school has since been closed indefinitely and investigations on the matter has commenced
