Human Rights Activist Kipkorir Ngetich Condemns Abductions and Social Media Misuse in Kenya
Human rights activist Kipkorir Ngetich has strongly condemned the recent wave of abductions and the misuse of social media in Kenya, calling for urgent action to address these issues. In a public statement, Ngetich emphasized that such actions are not only unlawful but also a direct threat to national security and social cohesion.”We wish to condemn in the strongest terms possible the recent wave of abductions. This is unacceptable in any state governed by the rule of law,” said Ngetich. He called on the authorities to swiftly arrest and prosecute individuals suspected of committing crimes, ensuring they face justice in a court of law. He condemned the circulating images and posts that purportedly show the death of political leaders, including the president, stating that this was not only immoral but also unlawful. “It is not a democratic right to wish death upon someone or to spread false images of coffins.
