In a significant political development, Moses Kuria, the former Cabinet Secretary and influential political figure, has resigned from his position as Senior Economic Advisor to President William Ruto.
The announcement, made on July 8, 2025, ends Kuria’s nearly three-year stint in key roles within the Kenya Kwanza government.
Kuria, a long-time ally of President Ruto, revealed his decision through a personal statement on social media, noting that he had formally communicated his resignation to the President, who “graciously accepted” it.
